決(Kimeru)Decide

This letter has a meaning of “Decide.”
Originally, the left side of this letter is water or a river, and the right side is a tool which breaks the bank of river. Therefore, the whole of this letter’s shape is changing the stream of the river by breaking the bank.
At the same time, this letter tells us deciding is like breaking the bank of river.

In the ancient time, people wanted to change the stream because they wanted to let water flow to their field, though. Breaking the bank has a risk of flood, and if the river is huge, it is very scaring to break the bank.
Though there is a risk, if they made a decision to challenge and succeed in it, they would get very big return.
In the same way, deciding has a risk as well.

Now we are having this card, it means what you should do now is making a decision.
By the way, in the world of tarot, we understand water as emotion. Therefore, the bigger your emotion is, the more scaring to decide is.

Maybe you are scared so much, but if you will decide, the stream of your life would be changed. Furthermore, if your decision would succeed, not only you but also other people would get more return.
